    • Dispense a small amount (2-3 drops) of the serum and gently massage it into areas with dark spots, acne scars, or discoloration.
    • Be sure to cover other areas where hyperpigmentation is common, such as around the cheeks and forehead, to prevent future spots.
    • Allow the serum to absorb fully before following up with a moisturizer and sunscreen during the day.

My personal review

I’ve been using the Anua Niacinamide 10% + TXA 4% Dark Spot Correcting Serum for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with the results. My dark spots are starting to fade, and my skin looks brighter and more even. What I love most is how lightweight it feels; it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave that sticky feeling that some other products do. My skin feels more hydrated and smooth, and I haven’t had any irritation or breakouts, which is great since I have sensitive, acne-prone skin. Overall, it’s a fantastic serum, especially for the price!

I’m not surprised by the effectiveness of this serum! With arbutus and 10% niacinamide, of course your skin will brighten! I’m currently using another niacinamide serum, but I’m quite curious because I heard that arbutus wasn’t that innocuous as it’s the natural equivalent of hydroquinone. Can you confirm that it’s the case? Thanks once again for this wonderful review!

Thanks for you article on this product. I am not aware or familiar with the ingredients in it except for the hylauronic acid. I have a few sun spots on my face that I would love to lighten. I think the most effective way to remove them would be laser but the cost is exorbitant and they don’t bother me that much. I’d be prepared to give this product a try as it is reasonably priced. What I often do when I start to use a new product is take a close up photo of my face to start with to see if the results are visible because it’s often difficult to determine. It’s possible to feel the difference though. Thank for the article on a product I wasn’t aware of.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment! It sounds like you’re approaching skincare with a practical mindset, and taking close-up photos to track progress is a smart idea—it really helps to see any visible changes over time. While laser treatments can be effective for sunspots, trying a reasonably priced product like this one, especially with hyaluronic acid, could offer benefits at a fraction of the cost. It’s also true that sometimes the difference can be felt before it’s seen, so your method should help you determine the product’s impact. I’m glad the article introduced you to something new!
